Frequent questions

FAQ

Dehydrated or freeze-dried?

OutFood products use the natural method of dehydration, which preserves food by removing water through warm air, keeping flavors and nutrients intact.

This process reduces water content from 90% to just 5–10%, without the need for preservatives, ensuring freshness and genuine quality in a healthy, natural way.

Freeze-drying is another effective, more technical method that freezes ingredients and removes moisture under vacuum, but OutFood chooses dehydration for its simplicity and natural approach.

OutFood meals contain both dehydrated and freeze-dried ingredients.

Where are OUTFOODs produced?

OUTFOOD is the first Italian line of ready-to-eat dehydrated meals for the outdoors, made with selected and completely natural ingredients.

Every stage of production is carefully monitored in our Italian factory to guarantee quality and authenticity.

Are OUTFOOD meals vegan?

Many OUTFOOD recipes are vegan, made without animal ingredients, without sacrificing taste and nutritional value.

Thanks to plant-based proteins, meals are more digestible and offer a high protein intake, ideal for those who choose a vegan lifestyle.

What does balanced meals mean?

OUTFOOD meals are made to high quality standards, using only natural ingredients to ensure optimal nutritional intake and easy digestion.

They contain complex carbohydrates that release energy gradually and high quantities of proteins, perfect for supporting even the most intense activities.

Are they natural and GMO-free?

OUTFOOD products are natural, non-GMO, and free from chemical preservatives, to offer you genuine and healthy nutrition on every adventure.
